Mum's first car was a blue volkswagen .She hadn't learnt to drive while Dad was alive and the pink yank tank would I my opinion as her teacher , would have been too much too soon for this leadfoot. Clever person that she is, she made a psychaedelic material panel for the back window when I painted it bright metallic blue in the 1970's. She is just modelling, in her 90's, with my newly acquired convertible
