Playing Lord and Lady of the Manor

We have been really enjoying our regular sit down and watch " To the Manor Born" kindly lent to us by our wonderful new neighbour. There is so many good bits of drama - who needs to watch the TV when you have such good neighbours to spoil you . More here

This week we went a bit further and played Lord and Lady Modra at Werribee Mansion. We danced by ourselves in the ballroom and I played and sand her a serenade with guitar in the music room. After lunch in the garden with a few friends we found the plebs house where Chris's early antecedents ( mc kenzies) most probably lived in the 1850's (when they worked there) Oh it was such fun !
